Project Elements: 

Road and property flooding occurred for many years along Limerick Drive and Kilkenny Drive in northeast Tallahassee, due to inadequate drainage systems. G&A was contracted by the City of Tallahassee to develop engineering solutions to alleviate the flooding and associated property damage. G&A modeled the 45-acre contributing drainage basin using XPSWMM software, identified the major contributing factors, and designed system modifications including high-capacity inlets, increased pipe sizes, improved drainage swales, and a new outfall structure to meet the City’s Level of Service.
