Project Elements: 

G&A served as civil engineer for the design of the New Baker County K-5 Elementary School. The project features a new educational facility, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving and a construction entrance from SR 121. The new school building includes 128,065 SF of classroom space and an 18,349 SF future expansion classroom wing, as well as a visitor/parent parking area with 67 spaces, a staff parking area with 56 parking spaces, a bus parking lot with 21 spaces, and 6 handicap parking spaces. G&A’s services included: site development, stormwater analysis and design, and permitting with the SJRWMD for two wet-detention ponds. A Drainage Connection permit from FDOT was also secured for road widening along SR 121 and modifications to the roadside swales.
