Project Elements: 

G&A was tasked to provide civil design for resurfacing existing entrance and exit ramps, reconstruction/resurfacing of truck and car parking and vehicular circulation and accessible routes at the Welcome Center on SR 8 (Interstate 10) near the Florida and Alabama state line. Additional improvements include new sidewalks, curb & gutter, signing and pavement markings, and windshield washer stations for both trucks and passenger vehicles. In all, more than 17,000 SY of concrete was used in the new construction, as well as approximately 4,500 LF of new standard FDOT wildlife fence along the southern perimeter of the 22-acre site.
