George & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc. (G&A) provided civil engineering services for the Osceola Solar Facility. The Osceola Solar Facility, looks like a farm of 15,000 solar panels along South Canoe Creek Road between St. Cloud and Kenansville and is already soaking up the sun.  The new Duke Energy owned and operated Osceola Solar Facility, which first began commercially operating in May of 2016, is about the size of 13 football fields and produces 3.8 megawatts of carbon-free energy, enough to power 760 homes at full production capacity.

G&A was responsible for site development of 17 acres of a larger 25-acre parcel. Services included civil engineering, site plan approvals, and environmental permitting services with the regulatory agencies SFWMD, FDEP, and DOH.
